El Fondo 1% para el Desarrollo trabaja con . . .


A la asamblea general de junio 2010, los miembros aprobaron la selección de cuatro organizaciones no gubernamentales que habían logrado proyectos únicos, para recebir recursos para grupos de proyectos y colaborar así al control de los actividades individuales. Ellas son:

CRADIB cooperative members

CRADIB (Benin)

Programme: infrastructure for cashew cooperatives.
  • Also supported by the Service de la solidarité internationale of the Swiss Canton of Geneva; SSI members have visited and sent back positive reports.

  • First and second projects already completed: centralised storage and trining facilities at Glazoué et Ouessé.

  • Beneficiaries: the 500 women who are members of the cooperatives and their families.
CRADIB = Centre de recherches et d'action pour le développement des infrastructures de base
Infirmary in Benin

Jeunesse Ambition (Benin)

Programme: Taking care of orphans and other vulnerable children at JA's Anfani Centre.
  • First and second projects already completed: construction of an infirmary and establishment of a vegetable garden with an area for small livestock.

  • Beneficiaries: 139 orphans and 613 other children.

Maasai craftwork

Namayiana Oloshoibor (Kenya)

Programme: Support of handicraft production at a Maasai women’s centre.
  • First and second projects completed: construction of toilet facilities and establishment of a revolving fund for wholesale purchase of materials.

  • Beneficiaries: 112 members of the association and their families (70 men and 594 children).

  • Handicrafts have been sold for the past two years at international organisations in Geneva.
Well in Bolivia

Voix Libres (Switzerland/Bolivia)

Programme: water for agricultural centres.
  • First project completed: sinking of a well and construction of a storage and distribution system.

  • Beneficiaries: 1585 residents of the village where the centre is located, including young people formerly working in mines and now in training at the centre, and women and children being sheltered from abuse.
