At the June 2010 General Assembly of the 1% for Development Fund, the members approved the selection of four non-governmental organisations that had successfully run single projects in the past to receive funding for multiple projects, becoming partners in the administration of the individual activities. They are:

CRADIB (Benin)

• Also supported by the Service de la solidarité internationale of the Swiss Canton of Geneva; SSI members have visited and sent back positive reports.


• First and second projects already completed: centralised storage and training facilities at Glazoué et Ouessé.


• Beneficiaries: the 500 women who are members of the cooperatives and their families.

Jeunesse Ambition (Benin)

• First and second projects already completed: construction of an infirmary and establishment of a vegetable garden with an area for small livestock.


• Beneficiaries: 139 orphans and 613 other children.

Namayiana Oloshoibor (Kenya)

• First and second projects completed: construction of toilet facilities and establishment of a revolving fund for wholesale purchase of materials.


• Beneficiaries: 112 members of the association and their families (70 men and 594 children).


• Handicrafts have been sold for the past two years at international organisations in Geneva.

Voix Libres (Switzerland/Bolivia)

• First project completed: sinking of a well and construction of a storage and distribution system.


• Beneficiaries: 1585 residents of the village where the centre is located, including young people formerly working in mines and now in training at the centre, and women and children being sheltered from abuse.
