How can I contribute to the Fund?

If you wish to become a member, simply fill in the form below and check the "Sign up" box; your name and address will be sent to the Fund coordinator, who will then send information on how to make arrangements with your bank to transfer your contribution to the Fund's bank account. Then get involved! Help the Fund organize promotional activities, evaluate projects or decide how best your contribution could be used. Come and join the Management Committee or, if you cannot spare the time for that, participate in the General Assembly, where each member can help make the final decision about projects to be funded or share experience and new ideas.

If you find the 1% Fund's activities interesting, but have questions that need answering before you commit yourself, check the "More information" box, fill in the form and include your questions in the space provided. A member of the Fund will be in touch as soon as we have the answers. If you are ready to sign up, but still have questions, feel free to check both boxes.

If you cannot commit yourself to full membership but still wish to support our activities, you can make a one-off donation at any time by interbank transfer (mentioning your name and postal or e-mail address) to the Fund's bank account (No. 279-CA100005.0, at UBS, Palais des Nations (UN), 1211 Geneva 10, Switzerland; IBAN: CH54 0027 9279 CA10 0005 0; SWIFT (BIC): UBSWCHZH80A) or postal account (10-227611-4, Association Unpourcent pour le Développement, 1202 Genève).

As 1% for Development is now registered in Switzerland as a not-for-profit association, memberships or one-off donations may be eligible for tax relief, depending on individual circumstances. Members and donors will receive, on request, attestations of their contributions to the Fund.
